Write your first order
Start an order for a customer, add products and quantities, review it, and submit.
This is the lesson the whole course builds to. An order in Nymble Sales goes: pick the customer → add products → review → submit. Once you’ve done it twice it takes minutes, and it works exactly the same whether you’re online or off.
Steps
- Start the order for a customer. Every order belongs to an account, so pick the customer first — the app applies their pricing to everything from the first item.
- Add products. Browse categories or search, and add what the customer wants as you go. This is a conversation, not data entry — add an item, keep talking, add the next.
- Set quantities. Adjust each line to what they’re actually ordering. Watch the order total build as you go — no surprises for you or the buyer at the end.
- Review the order. Before anything is final you get the whole picture on one screen: every line, quantities, the customer’s pricing, and the totals. Confirm the shipping and billing details, and give it the same 10-second scan you’d give a paper order form.
- Submit. Done. The order is captured with the customer’s real pricing — validated, complete, and ready for your back office.
What happens after you hit submit
The order syncs to your company the moment your device is online — into the same system your office and ERP work from. Nothing gets re-keyed, nothing waits for you to get back to a desk. If you were offline when you submitted, the order waits safely on your device and sends itself the instant you have a connection. Either way, your part ended when you tapped submit.
Where to go deeper
Discounts, line notes, duplicating a previous order, and the barcode scanner all live in the Writing Orders course — worth watching before your first big show.
