Find a customer
Search your customer list and read an account page — history, contacts, and addresses — before you walk in.
Every sale starts with an account. The Customers area holds every account you manage, and a customer’s page tells you everything worth knowing before you say hello: what they buy, who to talk to, and where things ship.
Steps
- Open Customers. You’ll see your full account list — every customer synced to your device, searchable even with no signal.
- Search by company name or customer number. A few characters is enough; the list narrows as you type.
- Open the account. A customer’s page brings together:
- Order history — what they’ve bought and when, which is the fastest way to spot a reorder that’s due.
- Contacts — the actual people: buyers, owners, accounts payable — with their details a tap away.
- Addresses — billing and shipping locations, ready to use the moment you write an order.
- Payment details — how this account pays, so there are no surprises at order time.
The 60-second pre-visit review
Before you walk into a store or greet someone at your booth, give their account one minute: last order date, what was in it, and any open orders. Walking in with “looks like you’re about due on the spring line” instead of “so… what do you need?” is the cheapest credibility you’ll ever buy — and it’s all sitting on the customer page.
Good to know
- The same search works mid-conversation — if a buyer from another account stops by your booth, you’re two taps from their history.
- Adding brand-new customers in the field is covered in the Customers & Accounts course.
