Getting Started with Nymble Admin
Lesson 6 of 8 3 min
Customers and sales reps
Read a customer record, and see how accounts connect to the reps who own them.
Two groups of people power everything in Nymble: the customers who buy and the reps who sell to them. Admin is where both are managed — and where they’re connected.
Steps
- Open Sales → Customers and open an account you know. A customer record is the company’s full commercial file:
- Contacts — the people at the account, with their details.
- Addresses — billing and every ship-to location (what reps pick from when they write orders).
- Order history and carts — everything bought and everything in flight, per account.
- Account data — the fields your company tracks per customer, including how their pricing is set up.
- Notice what this record feeds. When a rep opens this customer on an iPad, they’re reading this file. When the customer signs into the storefront, their pricing and addresses come from here. Fix a wrong address once, in Admin, and it’s fixed everywhere.
- Open Administration → Sales Reps. Your selling team, as the platform sees it — each rep’s account and the book of customers they own. Assignment is what routes an account’s data to the right rep’s device.
- Open Storefront → Access Requests. When a buyer asks for access to your B2B storefront, the request lands here for your approval — this is the front door for new self-serve customers, and somebody should be checking it weekly.
Good to know
- New customers arrive three ways: you create them here, a rep adds one in the field, or a buyer requests storefront access. All three end up as the same thing — a customer record in this list.
- Pricing, customer groups, and rep assignment in depth are the Customers, Pricing & Reps course.
