Release notes

Every improvement we ship across the Nymble platform — the sales app, the storefront, the admin, and payments — in one running log.

v2.2.3
Nymble Sales

Nymble Sales 2.2.3 — your whole catalog's images offline, and three ways to view products

Every product and category image is kept on the iPad so the catalog looks the same with or without a connection, Products gains Grid, List and Sheet views under a header that tucks away as you scroll, Review Order and Customer Details are rebuilt around compact summary strips, and percentage discounts take decimals.

New

  • Your catalog’s images, offline — after a sync on Wi-Fi, the app keeps a copy of every product and category image on the iPad, including products you have never opened. The catalog, product details, scanner results, carts, Review Order, past orders, invoices and order PDFs printed on the device all show real images with no signal. Downloads run in the background on Wi-Fi only, an image replaced in Nymble Admin takes over on the next pass, and images for products that are no longer active are cleared away.
  • Grid, List and Sheet views on Products — a switcher beside the search bar sets how products are laid out: Grid for image-led browsing, List for one product per row with its details, and Sheet, a quick-order table with on-hand quantity, price and a quantity column lined up for fast entry. The app remembers your choice and uses it for search results too, on iPad and iPhone.
  • A header that gets out of the way — on Products, scrolling down folds the title, search bar and category tabs into one compact row holding the back button, the customer you’re working with and the sub-category tabs, so more of the list is on screen. Scroll back up and the full header returns.
  • Review Order, redesigned — the order’s details sit in one summary strip across the top: Order type, PO number, Sales rep, Taken by, Terms and Fulfillment method, with Bill to and Ship to beneath, each a tap away from choosing, editing or adding an address. A Terms cell with nothing selected is highlighted so it is easy to spot. The items list shows how many items and units are on the order, every line has a note button, and discounted lines show the original price beside the saving. The order note and receipt recipients open in their own pop-overs, with each recipient labelled Customer, You or Copy. On iPhone the order total, note and receipt sit in a footer that stays put while you scroll, and the total expands to show the discount breakdown.

Improved

  • Customer Details at a glance — the Overview tab opens with a compact strip of the customer’s price tier, terms, sales rep, fulfillment method, phone, email and billing and shipping addresses, with their pending orders right below. Tap the pin on an address for a map with Open in Maps, or the pencil to edit it, and the ship-to editor offers a one-tap Use billing address.
  • Percentage discounts with decimals — a percentage discount on a line or on the whole order takes up to two decimal places, such as 12.5% or 7.25%, and shows that way on Review Order and View Order.
  • Flipbook pins match the Storefront — every product tagged on a flipbook page carries a round price-tag pin at its corner, the same marker your customers see in the Nymble Storefront reader. Tap the pin or the product to open it.

Refined

  • Ready sooner, steady for longer — a saved session opens straight to your organizations without waiting on the sign-in service, sync picks itself back up after a sign-in expires and tells you if you need to sign in again, each rep who signs in on a shared iPad works from their own local copy of their data, and the dashboard and Orders tab update in place as orders arrive so long days on older iPads stay smooth.
  • iPhone polish — the order note and Receipt to cards open centred above the keyboard, address sheets run edge to edge with every field reachable while you type, and on both iPad and iPhone the order options drawer runs the full height of the screen.
v1.7.20
Nymble Storefront

Nymble Storefront 1.7.20 — flipbooks become a full-screen reader

Flipbooks open in a full-screen reader with every tagged product pinned on the page — hover for the price, click to open the product and add it to the cart, and manage the cart without leaving the catalog.

New

  • A full-screen flipbook reader — opening a flipbook takes over the browser window. It starts with a grid of every page; pick one and it shows large, with a thumbnail rail down the side, arrows on the page and the left and right keys to turn pages. Back returns to the page grid, and from there to your flipbooks.
  • Products pinned on the page — every product tagged in Nymble Admin appears as a pin right where it sits on the page. Hover a pin for the price, click it to open the product, and pins turn green with the quantity once the product is in your cart.
  • Add to cart without leaving the page — clicking a pin opens a drawer beside the page with the product’s image, name, SKU, price at the quantity you choose, minimum order, description, quantity picker and Add To Cart, plus a heart to favourite it and a link to the full product page. Arrows in the drawer step through every product on the page.
  • On this page — one click lists every product tagged on the current page, each with an Add button or the quantity already in your cart.
  • Your cart, inside the reader — the cart button opens your cart beside the page: change quantities, remove lines, check the subtotal and go straight to checkout while the flipbook stays open. A cart that is with your rep for review shows as locked, with a Recall button to take it back.
  • Made for phones — on a phone the page fills the screen with the page strip below it, and the product, page list and cart open as sheets from the bottom.

Improved

  • Works with any theme — the reader brings its own styling and sits above whatever your site’s theme draws, so it looks and behaves the same whichever WordPress theme your storefront runs.

Fixed

  • A page that tags the same product twice lists it once — the product panel used to repeat a product for every tag on the page; the reader shows one pin per tag but one product in its lists.
  • The flipbook no longer collides with your site’s header — the old page view’s title bar overlapped a sticky site navigation as you scrolled down.
v2.2.2
Nymble Sales

Nymble Sales 2.2.2 — send to several addresses, and discounts and notes that stay put

Tear sheets, documents, shared carts and orders can go to several email addresses at once, attributes follow the order set in Nymble Admin, order and invoice lists start with the newest, and discounts and line notes on Review Order stay exactly as you entered them.

New

  • Send to several addresses at once — the email field on the tear-sheet, documents, share-cart and send-order sheets takes more than one address, separated by a semicolon or comma. Each address gets its own copy, and a customer whose record already carries two addresses is ready to send without retyping.

Improved

  • Attributes in the order your admin set — Product Details and Customer Details list attributes in the order arranged in Nymble Admin, on iPad and iPhone, and a reorder made there reaches the app with its next sync. On iPad, the Customer Attributes tab uses the full height of the screen.
  • Newest orders and invoices first — Customer Details and the Orders tab list orders and invoices newest first, and the Orders tab shows up to 200 of each.
  • Line notes wrap inside the row — a long note wraps within its line on Review Order, and the note editor closes with a single Save.

Refined

  • Discounts stay with the order — a discount applied on Review Order, on a line or on the whole order, is saved the moment you tap Apply and stays through quantity changes, closing and reopening the order, and checkout.
  • Line notes show the moment you save — the row updates with the note you just entered, and clearing the note removes it from the row.
  • Duplicate keeps you on the order — duplicating from Review Order opens the copy right there.
v2.2.1
Nymble Sales

Nymble Sales 2.2.1 — flipbooks work offline

Flipbooks open instantly with or without a connection, the customer you're working with is marked wherever customers are listed, pending orders can be swiped away on the iPad dashboard, and ordering is smoother throughout.

New

  • Flipbooks work offline — every flipbook is saved to the iPad, pages and all, after it first loads, so the gallery and the viewer open instantly on a trade-show floor or in a back room with no signal. When a flipbook changes in Nymble Admin, the new version arrives on the next check and an open flipbook updates in place, keeping you on the page you were reading.
  • Your active customer is marked — the customer you’re working with carries a green outline on the dashboard’s Recent Customers cards and in the Customers screen’s Recent and All lists, whether or not they have an order open yet. Tap Catalog for someone else and the outline follows.
  • Swipe to delete a pending order on the iPad dashboard — swipe a pending-order card to remove it, the same gesture the iPhone dashboard already has.
  • Product images open full screen — tap a product image to view it full screen, pinch to zoom and drag to pan. Double-tap brings a zoomed image back to fit, and a second double-tap closes it.

Improved

  • Customer Details shows pending orders right away — a customer’s open orders appear as soon as they load, listed in the order they were created, so the first order you started stays first.
  • The “Working on” banner appears only when it helps — resuming an order names which of the customer’s orders you’re in only when they have more than one open, and it clears itself after a few seconds.
  • Smoother ordering throughout — adds and edits go straight to the order you’re working in, the dashboard picks up a new order as soon as its first item is added, steppers keep the quantity you tap, and setting a quantity to zero removes the line.
Nymble Admin

Move a storefront user to the right customer

Storefront Users can now change which customer someone shops for, instead of removing their access and starting again — and shows you who is pointed at a customer that no longer exists.

New

  • Change the customer a storefront user shops for — every customer on the Storefront Users page now carries a change action beside the remove one. Search by customer number or company name, pick the account, and that person’s access moves across without leaving the page. It applies at their next sign-in.
  • Only real customers can be picked — the search offers accounts that exist in your organization, so a mistyped customer number can’t be saved against someone.
  • See who is pointed at a customer that no longer exists — a Deleted customers filter narrows the page to those people, with a count that shows whether the filter is on or off.
  • Put that access right without losing the person — removing it used to take them off the page along with the problem. Now you point them at a live customer and they stay where they are.

Fixed

  • Customers with no company name are no longer marked as deleted — the warning appeared whenever a company name was blank, including for good accounts. It now shows only when the customer record has genuinely gone.
v2.1.9
Nymble Sales

Nymble Sales 2.1.9 — every category keeps its own order

Each category shows its products in the order arranged for that category in Nymble Admin, so a product that sits in several categories holds its own place in each one.

Improved

  • Every category keeps its own order — open a category and its products appear in the order your team arranged for that category in Nymble Admin. A product that lives in several categories holds the position it was given in each one, so arranging one category leaves every other category exactly as it was.
  • Parent and subcategory listings are arranged separately — a parent category and each of its subcategories carry their own order, so the products at the top of the parent’s listing and the products at the top of a subcategory’s listing are each whichever your team put there.
  • Arranged first, then everything else by SKU — within a category, the products your team has arranged come first and any it hasn’t follow in SKU order; the full catalog view lists everything by SKU. The order comes from the catalog already on the iPad, so it’s the same with or without a connection.
v2.1.8
Nymble Sales

Nymble Sales 2.1.8 — search stays in the subcategory you're in

Search follows the subcategory tab you have selected, so narrowing the catalog narrows your search along with it.

Improved

  • Search follows the tab you’re on — select a subcategory and search from inside it, and the results come from that subcategory alone. The search box names the subcategory you’re in, so you can see what you’re about to search before you type a word. Move back to the All tab and the same search covers the whole category again.
  • Tags search brings back that tag’s products — open Tags, choose a tag and search, and the results come from the products carrying it.
  • Categories several levels deep search from the tab you’re on — open a category nested below another one and each subcategory tab lists its own products, with search scoped to whichever tab you’ve selected.
Platform

Receipts link to the order, and the order downloads as a spreadsheet

Every order receipt now carries a View order link that opens in Nymble Connect with no sign-in — a page that names you as the supplier and hands your customer the whole order as an Excel workbook whose totals are real formulas.

New

  • A “View order” link on every receipt — the receipt for a checkout reaches your customer, their sales rep and your organization, and all three now link straight to the order. It opens in Nymble Connect with no sign-in and no account, so a buyer who has never used the portal still reaches their own order in one click. Links last 90 days.
  • Download the order as a working spreadsheet — a Download Excel button on that page gives your customer Order-<number>.xlsx, where the line totals, subtotal and total are real formulas over the numbers rather than pasted text: change a quantity or a unit price and the order recalculates in front of them. Line discounts, order discount, tax and shipping feed the total when the order carries them, in the order’s own currency. The totals read correctly even in previews that never calculate, such as Quick Look or a Google Sheets import.
  • The order page says who the order is with — it now leads with your logo, or your initials on a tinted chip if you haven’t uploaded one, and carries your address, phone, email and website beneath the order. Ship-to and bill-to are both the customer’s own address, so until now nothing on the page named the supplier at all.

Improved

  • Expired links still name the supplier — an order link past its 90 days shows an expired card that says who it came from, rather than an anonymous one.
  • A replaced logo appears right away — order pages, shared carts, tear sheets and company documents all serve your logo from Nymble’s own image domain. Replacing your logo used to leave the old one showing on pages you had already emailed to customers for up to two days.
  • For developers — GET /api/orders/public/{token}/xlsx returns the order as a workbook, authorised by the same signed share token as the order view and needing no credentials; GET /api/orders/public/{token} now includes the customer-safe organization block (name, logo, contact details) that the message-center share views already returned.
v2.1.7
Nymble Sales

Nymble Sales 2.1.7 — the order you open is the order you're building

Opening an order makes it and its customer active together, so everything you add lands where you expect — with a new working-order card at the top of the screen and a clearer Send Order.

New

  • A working-order card at the top of the screen — open an order and a card appears at the top naming it, with the customer, price tier and item count on a second line and a View order link straight to it. It sits above whatever you’re on, clear of the tab bar and the catalog’s own controls, on a white card with a soft shadow, and stays up long enough to read. Every other message the app shows you appears in the same place.

Improved

  • The order you open is the order you’re building — tapping a pending order, on the card itself or on its Start or Resume button, makes that order and its customer active together. The catalog header, the prices you see, the green active badge and everything you add all point at the same order, from the first item onwards. Moving between two customers’ orders is one tap each way.
  • Starting an order keeps you on the customer — create an order from a customer’s page and you stay there, with the new order at the top of Open Orders wearing the green active badge, ready to open when you are. Your place in the catalog is kept.
  • Orders with nothing in them offer Start — a pending order you haven’t added to yet says Start; one with items says Resume. The same wording appears on the dashboard, the Orders screen and a customer’s Open Orders.
  • Send Order works like Share Cart — Send stays grey until a valid email address or a complete phone number is entered, then turns green. A summary line carries the line count, unit count and order total, and the popup closes itself once the order has gone. If a send doesn’t get through it stays open, with what you typed still there.

Fixed

  • Categories several levels deep open cleanly — open a category whose subcategories have subcategories of their own and you land straight on its tiles: each one appears exactly once, the grid starts at the top of the screen, and the page holds still as it arrives.
  • Even spacing on pending-order cards — on a customer’s page each card takes the height its own content needs, so the space below the buttons is the same on every card, whichever row it falls on.
  • Open orders stay in a steady order — a customer’s open orders are listed oldest first by when they were created, so the list keeps the same order while you work.
v2.1.6
Nymble Sales

Nymble Sales 2.1.6 — the order type, right on the card

Every order card carries its order type, Resume opens any pending order straight into the catalog, and Review Order and Place Order stay quick and clear when the iPad is out of coverage.

New

  • Order type on every order card — each card shows the order’s type, so you can tell one kind of order from another while scanning a list instead of opening each one. Submitted orders carry it on the Orders screen, in search results and on the customer’s Orders tab; the carts you’re still building carry it on the Orders screen, the dashboard and Customer Details. The type is whichever your organization defines — Standard, Sample, Assisted and the rest — shown exactly as it reads on the order itself, and orders with no type set show nothing extra.

Improved

  • Resume says when an order needs something first — if the order’s customer hasn’t reached the iPad yet, or has been deactivated, the app tells you in one sentence and names the customer number, so you know whether to sync or to check the account.
  • Review Order is quick without a connection — opening Review Order on a device that’s out of coverage brings up the payment section in seconds, so you can carry on building the order.

Fixed

  • Resume opens any pending order in the catalog — tapping Resume on a pending-order card, from the Orders screen or the dashboard, makes that cart the active cart and takes you straight to the catalog. It works for a cart you started before picking a customer, a second cart for the customer you’re already working with, and another customer’s cart.
  • Place Order is clear when the device is offline — when an order can’t reach the server, the app tells you it wasn’t sent and that your cart is saved on the device, ready to place as soon as you’re back online.
v2.1.5
Nymble Sales

Nymble Sales 2.1.5 — search leads with the product you meant

Catalog search now ranks by relevance, so products matching on name or SKU come first and the one you typed is at the top of the list.

Improved

  • Search results lead with the closest match — products whose own name starts with what you typed come first, then the rest of the name matches, then SKU matches, then products that match on their description. The same products are still found; the strongest matches are simply at the top, so the one you meant is usually the first you see.
  • Short words narrow your search — a one- or two-letter word in what you type is matched as written once you’ve typed past it, so it filters the results instead of pulling in every product with a longer word that happens to begin the same way. The word you’re still typing keeps matching as you go, so the list never empties out mid-word.
  • Relevance ranking is quick on large catalogs — results stay fast on catalogs with tens of thousands of products, including from the second character you type.
v1.7.11
Nymble Storefront

Nymble Storefront 1.7.11 — accurate pricing every visit, buyers who stay signed in, and payment rules that match your terms

Buyers always see current products and prices, stay signed in across visits, and are only asked for a card when their payment terms call for one. Companies in Canada and Mexico can now register, and a round of fixes makes browsing and checkout more dependable.

B2B buyers reorder on a schedule, expect their negotiated prices, and leave when a storefront gets in the way. This release is about removing that friction: the information buyers see is always current, a returning buyer picks up where they left off without signing in again, and checkout follows the payment terms you have already agreed with each account. It also opens the storefront to Canadian and Mexican customers and fixes the small failures that erode confidence in a site.

More reliable product and pricing information

Your buyers always see the latest products and prices. Changes made in Nymble Admin appear on the storefront on the next page load.

  • What changed: the storefront no longer holds on to its own copy of catalog data or rendered pages. A price update, a stock change, a product edit, a category you add, rename, or retire, and a replaced product image all show on the very next visit. Product images are now served from Nymble’s own image domain, which is what lets a replaced picture appear immediately rather than after a delay.
  • Why it matters: a buyer who sees yesterday’s price, or an image of a product you replaced, calls your team or orders the wrong thing. Your ecommerce team can make a change and trust that the storefront is showing it.

Signed-in buyers always get their own prices. A customer who is signed in never sees the public version of a product page.

  • What changed: a signed-in buyer could previously be shown a product page prepared for logged-out visitors, with a “Login To See Pricing” prompt instead of their pricing, or category tiles that were out of date. That no longer happens; every signed-in visit is rendered for that customer.
  • Why it matters: account-specific pricing is the point of a B2B storefront. Buyers should never have to wonder whether the price on screen is theirs.

Retired products stay out of the catalog. Products you deactivate in Nymble Admin disappear from browsing, category pages, and the product sitemap sent to search engines.

  • Why it matters: buyers do not find, and search engines do not index, items you no longer sell. Fewer questions about unavailable products reach your reps and customer service.

Faster, easier repeat purchasing

Buyers stay signed in between visits. A buyer who signs in on their browser stays signed in for up to 30 days.

  • What changed: previously a session ended an hour after sign-in, so a buyer building an order over a morning, or coming back the next day, had to sign in again. Sessions now renew quietly in the background, and each browser holds its own session.
  • Why it matters: repeat purchasing is where B2B revenue lives. A buyer who returns to a signed-in storefront with their cart and pricing waiting is far more likely to complete the order.

Signing in returns buyers to what they were doing. Every Login button on the storefront brings the buyer back to the page they were on, including search results and the page number of a listing.

  • What changed: the return-to-page behaviour now works from every Login button, checkout’s included, and preserves the search terms and page a buyer had reached. The Login button on the checkout page, which previously did nothing, now signs the buyer in and returns them to checkout. Signing out lands on your storefront instead of the sign-in service’s page.
  • Why it matters: a buyer who found the right product on page three of a search and then had to sign in should land back on that product, not on the home page.

New carts follow your order types. A cart started on the storefront takes your organization’s default order type, the same one Nymble Sales uses.

  • Why it matters: orders arriving from the storefront and from your reps share the same classification, so operations teams process them the same way without reclassifying.

Buyers can find their account number. My Account now shows the customer number beside the company name.

  • Why it matters: when a buyer contacts your team or their rep, they have the identifier your back office already uses on their orders and invoices.

More flexible B2B payments

Ask for a credit card only when the account’s terms call for it. Customers on account terms can place orders billed to their account, while customers whose terms require payment are asked for a card.

  • What changed: a new “Require a Credit Card For” setting under Payment Settings lets you keep requiring a card from every customer (the default) or choose the payment terms that require one, selected from your organization’s own list of terms. A buyer on any other term sees payment as optional and their order is billed to their account, unless they choose a saved card or add a new one. A customer with no terms on file is always asked for a card.
  • Why it matters: most B2B relationships run on Net 30 or similar terms. Forcing a card at checkout from a customer who has an approved account is friction that pushes orders back to phone and email. This setting lets the storefront honour the terms your credit team has already granted, while keeping card payment mandatory where it should be.

Better international selling

Canadian and Mexican companies can register. The registration form accepts Canadian and Mexican postal codes and labels the field the way those buyers expect.

  • What changed: the postal code field only accepted US ZIP codes, so a Canadian address could not complete registration. It now accepts Canadian and Mexican codes, reads “Postal Code” for those countries and “ZIP Code” for the US, is required (the form always said it was), and tidies what was typed so “k1a0b1” is stored as “K1A 0B1”.
  • Why it matters: new accounts from across the border register themselves instead of asking your team to set them up, and the addresses arrive consistent enough for shipping and invoicing.

Important fixes and refinements

Products in more than one category link and breadcrumb correctly. A product filed under two categories previously linked to an address that ran both category paths together, with a breadcrumb trail that led nowhere. It now links through the category the buyer is browsing and shows one clean trail, and search engines are given a single address for it.

Deeper category pages open. A subcategory that has subcategories of its own no longer returns “Page Not Found”; category pages open at any depth, and the links on category cards and in the sitemap all resolve.

Pages that showed raw template text render properly. The cart page, search results, a flipbook’s product tags, the header cart icon, View Cart, and Checkout could fail to render and show placeholders like ”{{ item.productName }}” instead of the buyer’s items. All of them render correctly again, and View Cart line-item images load. A brief flash of the cart review dialog during page load is gone as well.

Storefronts installed in a subdirectory link correctly. Registration and category links now respect a WordPress installation that lives below the site root.

A clearer API key setting. The settings field is labelled “Storefront API Key”, explains what a storefront key is for, and confirms the saved key is one.

If your host runs its own page cache, the storefront now marks a signed-in buyer’s requests so that cache skips them. Signed-out storefront pages should still be excluded from host-level caching so buyers see current information.

v2.1.4
Nymble Sales

Nymble Sales 2.1.4 — send the cart to your customer

Reps can email or text a customer a link to the cart they've built, every product shows stock on hand, deactivated customers are clearly marked, and images refreshed in Nymble Admin reach the device right away.

New

  • Share a cart with the customer — from Review Order, open the order options and tap Share cart to email and/or text the customer a link to the cart. Email and phone are pre-filled from the customer’s contact and can be changed, and you can add a note. The customer opens the link in Nymble Connect with no sign-in and sees the cart exactly as you built it: every line, quantity, price and total. It works for a cart built offline, and the link keeps working after the order is placed.
  • Stock on hand on every product — product cards and the product detail screen show quantity on hand, so you know what’s in stock before you add it. The Add button shows a minimum only when the product carries one.

Improved

  • Deactivated customers are clearly marked — a customer deactivated in the back office carries an Inactive pill in Recent Customers and on the dashboard, and their Customer Details page stays open for reference: orders, invoices and contact details are all there, with catalog browsing and new orders paused until the customer is reactivated. Their pending-order cards say “Customer marked inactive” wherever they appear, and reactivating the customer lifts it on the next sync.
  • Review Order lists items in the order you added them — the newest line sits at the bottom, so the list reads the way the cart was built.
  • Faster customer lookups on large account lists — resuming a cart and picking a customer are quick even for organizations with tens of thousands of accounts.
  • Images refresh on the device right away — a product image, category image or organization logo updated in Nymble Admin appears on every rep’s device after the next sync, and catalog syncs are lighter because thumbnails already on the device stay put.

Fixed

  • Every tap on the quantity stepper counts — rapid taps on + and − in a product list register instantly, one for one.
  • Add to Cart tells you why — if a cart can’t be started, the app names the reason, such as the customer having been deactivated, so you know what to do next.
  • Signing in without a connection shows a prompt — on a Wi-Fi network with no route out, the login screen asks you to check your connection and stays responsive.
v2.1.3
Nymble Sales

Nymble Sales 2.1.3 — every category a product belongs to

Products filed under more than one category now show up in each of them when reps browse, and saving a card in the field asks for the email your payment provider needs instead of guessing it.

Improved

  • Saving a card asks for the email — the Add Payment Method form now has an email field, pre-filled from the customer’s first contact when there is one. Your payment provider requires an email to save a card on file; until now the app filled it in silently from whichever contact came first, which was wrong when that wasn’t the right person and blank when the account had no contact email. Address 2, City, and ZIP Code also gained the placeholder text the rest of the form already had.

Fixed

  • A product in several categories appears in all of them — a product filed under, say, both a seasonal sale category and its regular line was only showing up in the last category it was assigned to. Browsing any category now lists every product assigned to it, the same set Nymble Admin and the Storefront show, with the count to match. One customer’s sale category went from 4 visible products to all 117.
  • Sub-category tabs stay in their lane — a sub-category tab no longer also lists products from a sibling whose name starts the same way, so “Gifts” no longer includes “Gifts 2”.
v2.1.2
Nymble Sales

Nymble Sales 2.1.2 — batch discounts and search to the letter

Reps can discount many line items in one pass with a live savings preview, catalog and customer search match part numbers exactly as typed, and the Review Order flow picks up a round of fixes.

New

  • Discount several items at once — the Apply Discounts screen is now multi-select: check the line items, set one discount, and every selected row previews its savings before you commit. Rows that already carry a discount show it with a one-tap Remove button, and applying over one asks first. On iPhone the editor now opens as a bottom sheet.

Improved

  • Discounts that can’t be right are caught as you type — percentage discounts must be whole numbers, an amount discount can’t exceed the item’s unit price, and a cart discount can’t exceed the cart total. The rule appears inline the moment it’s broken, and the number pad drops its decimal key where decimals don’t apply.
  • Transferring an order gets the real customer picker — the transfer screen is now full-screen and searches the way the Customers screen does, with the same customer cards — cart badges included, so you can see whether the receiving account already has a cart open before you move one onto it.
  • The submit button names the order — it now reads “Place [order type]” using your organization’s own order type names, and the confirmation prompt matches.
  • The app version is one glance away — it now sits under the Logout button on the Organizations screen, so support can ask for it without anyone signing out.

Fixed

  • Search matches what you type, to the letter — hyphenated part numbers like 7-0 now return 7-0 rather than every “7-something” in the catalog, punctuation in a term is respected, and products whose names contain everyday short words like “ME” or “IT” no longer go missing from results. The same fixes cover customer search, and results no longer vary with the device’s language setting.
  • Autocorrect stays out of search — iOS no longer “corrects” SKUs, brand names, and customer names typed into the app’s search fields.
  • Duplicated orders show their quantities — every line of a duplicated order now renders with its quantity, instead of rows stuck on Add.
  • A line stepped to zero is removed — decrementing a quantity to zero takes the row out, exactly like swipe-to-delete.
  • Line-item savings total in the summary — the order summary now shows the subtotal before discounts and the total line-item discount alongside the order discount, so the arithmetic reads clean top to bottom.
  • Placing an order resets what’s behind it — catalog quantities and the cart badge clear as soon as an order submits, and the confirmation screen gains a button straight to the Dashboard.
v2.1.1
Nymble Sales

Nymble Sales 2.1.1 — invoices, a More tab, and speed everywhere

Your reps can now pull up a customer's invoices in the field — line items, balances, tracking — alongside a faster launch, indexed search, smoother lists, a new More tab, and a catalog that follows your merchandising order.

New

  • Invoices, on the device — invoices now sync to the app. Customer Details gets an Invoices tab beside Orders, and the Orders screen gets a third tab listing every invoice across the rep’s customers, newest first.
  • The whole invoice, not just the number — opening one shows the line items, totals, the balance still due, and the shipment details your ERP recorded: tracking numbers, packages, fulfillment, and backordered quantities. “What’s outstanding on this account?” is now answerable at the counter.
  • Readable offline — like customers, the catalog and orders, synced invoices stay readable with no signal at all.
  • A More tab — the bottom navigation keeps the everyday tabs up front and gathers the rest of the app behind More, so nothing sits more than a tap deeper than it used to.

Improved

  • The app opens faster — release builds are now fully precompiled, and startup does less busywork, so the time from tap to dashboard has dropped noticeably.
  • Search runs on real indexes — catalog and customer searches are served from full-text indexes instead of scanning documents, so results on large catalogs come back in a beat instead of a pause.
  • Smoother, lighter lists — product images now load at the size they’re drawn and the iPad order screens virtualize their rows again, so long lists scroll without stutter. Syncing also does less redundant work, which shows on weak trade-show networks.
  • Products follow your merchandising order — 2.0 taught the catalog’s categories to follow the order set in Nymble Admin; the products inside them now do the same, so the catalog reads the way it was merchandised.
  • Picking a payment card is unambiguous — the selected card wears the same green highlight as the rest of the app, and tapping it again deselects it.
  • Adding a card matches your gateway — the add-card form is driven by the payment gateway your organization actually uses, whether that’s Authorize.Net or WorldPay, so reps see the right fields the first time.
  • A second order asks its name up front — starting another order while one is open now prompts for the PO or order name first, so the new cart is identifiable from the moment it exists.

Fixed

  • Resuming stays put — resuming the active order no longer resets the catalog; the rep carries on from wherever they were.
  • Swipe-to-delete shows a button first — swiping a pending order reveals a Delete button instead of deleting on the swipe itself.
  • Organization tiles open on tap again — tapping an organization’s tile had stopped navigating into it.
  • Cart badges stay current — the cart badges customer cards gained in 2.0 now refresh every time the list reappears.
  • The barcode scan screen no longer crashes — opening the scanner could take the app down; it doesn’t anymore.
v2.0.0
Nymble Sales

Nymble Sales 2.0 — cards, a number pad, and a faster catalog

The biggest Nymble Sales release so far. The screens reps live in — Customers, Orders, the dashboard and Customer Details — are rebuilt as card lists, quantity entry gets its own number pad, and the iPhone catalog search hang is gone.

New

  • Cards instead of tables, across the app — Customers, Orders, the dashboard and the customer selector now list cards rather than spreadsheet-style grids. Each card carries the company name, customer number, order channel and ship-to address, sized for a thumb rather than a mouse.
  • A cart badge on every customer — customer cards show whether that account has a cart open, several carts open, or the cart the rep is currently working in, so they can pick up where they left off without opening anything.
  • Customer Details, rebuilt — the Orders tab is now submitted orders only, and carts still in progress live on the Overview tab as Pending Order cards with their own count, age and Resume button. Working orders and placed orders have stopped sharing one table.
  • A number pad for quantities and discounts — tapping a quantity field opens a compact pad beside it instead of the full iOS keyboard, so the product list stays on screen. Discount fields get the decimal version.
  • Review Requested carts are flagged — a cart a buyer has sent to their rep for review now shows a Review Requested button on the card, so it stands out from the ordinary pending pile.
  • Update notices — the app now checks whether a newer version is on the App Store and offers a one-tap link to it. Live from this release on, so the next update will prompt reps who haven’t taken it.

Improved

  • Quantities that can’t be ordered say so — a quantity below a product’s minimum, or off its case-pack multiple, now shows the rule (“must be ordered in multiples of 24”) instead of quietly reverting.
  • Errors reps could never see are now visible — errors raised on the catalog, cart, customer and order screens were being discarded before anyone saw them. They now surface as a message, and the ones that used to leak raw technical text no longer do.
  • Buttons say what they do — the bare checkmark that confirmed adding a customer, saving an address, applying a discount or sending docs is now a labelled Add / Save / Send / Apply button. Straight from rollout feedback.
  • Rapid quantity taps — a burst of + or − taps settles on the number the rep actually tapped, instead of drifting lower as older writes overwrite the display.
  • Cart edits do less work — adding, changing or removing a line writes the cart once instead of twice.
  • Switching customers resets the catalog — the rep lands at the top of the catalog rather than mid-browse in the previous customer’s session with their search still in the box.
  • Catalog categories follow the order you set — the sort order configured in Nymble Admin now drives the catalog grid, the category picker and the subcategory tabs.
  • Dashboard metrics restyled — Total Orders, Average Order and Total Sales now match the rest of the dashboard’s card language, with the selected period’s trend drawn as bars.

Fixed

  • Catalog search no longer hangs on iPhone — typing in the Catalog search bar could pin the app and stop it responding. The cause was a layout loop specific to @3x phone screens, which is why iPads never saw it.
  • Applied discounts show immediately — a line-item or order-level discount now appears on Review Order the moment it’s applied, with the original line total struck through beside the discounted one. Previously the summary and the lines disagreed until the screen was reopened.
  • Organizations list fills in on first login — a new rep’s first sign-in showed an empty Organizations screen until they force-quit and reopened the app.
  • The active customer survives a restart — closing and reopening the app no longer loses the active marker on the customer whose cart the rep resumed.
  • Long company names stay in their lane — names long enough to run under the customer-number chip and the cart badge now truncate instead.
  • A refused quantity no longer leaves an empty cart behind — turning down an unorderable quantity used to create a blank cart for that customer, which then appeared on the dashboard.
  • The Customer Details button works — on the dashboard’s customer cards it had never been wired to anything.
Nymble Sales

Product descriptions keep their formatting

Descriptions written with bold callouts, section headings, or numbered steps now render as formatting in Nymble Sales, instead of showing reps the markup around the words.

Improved

  • Formatted product descriptions — descriptions that arrive from your catalog with bold text, section headings, or numbered directions now render as formatting on the product details screen and in barcode scan results, rather than showing the markup around the words.
  • Numbered steps keep their numbering — a “how to use” list reads as a list, instead of running together into one block of text.
  • Headings stand out — section headings like “who it’s for” are set larger and bolder than the copy beneath them, so a long description stays scannable on a phone.
  • Plain descriptions are untouched — anything written as plain text looks exactly as it did before.
Nymble Admin

Browse your catalog by tag

A Tags page in Nymble Admin — every tag your catalog uses, how many products carry each one, and one click through to them. The fastest way to check a bulk tag import landed the way you expected.

New

  • A Tags page in the catalog — Catalog → Tags lists every distinct tag in your catalog with the number of products carrying it, so you can see your tagging from the catalog’s side instead of one product at a time.
  • Click a tag to see its products — the products carrying a tag open in a drawer, and any of them clicks through to its product details, the same way categories already work.
  • Catch tagging mistakes before your reps do — a count that reads 397 after a 400-row import, or a stray SPRING-SALE sitting next to SPRING SALE, is now visible at a glance.
  • For developers — GET /api/products/tags returns the organization’s distinct tags with a product count each; GET /api/products takes an optional tag parameter that filters the list to one tag alongside the existing paging and sorting.
Platform

Multiple rep numbers per sales rep

Reps who work under more than one rep number — territory splits, house accounts, legacy ERP codes — can now carry them all, with every account's customers on their device.

New

  • A rep can hold multiple rep numbers — assign the full ordered list in Nymble Admin; drag to reorder, and the first number is the default used on new carts and orders.
  • Customers follow every number automatically — Nymble Sales syncs customers (and their notes) for each number the rep holds, with no setup on the device.
  • Commission reporting stays clean — orders a rep places for a customer are recorded under the customer’s own rep number, so CRM and commission attribution follow the account.
  • Rep pickers show each number — when adding a customer or reviewing an order in Nymble Sales, a multi-number rep appears once per number, so the right code is always a tap away.
  • For developers — sales rep create, update, and list endpoints now carry a repNumbers array (ordered, first entry = default); the existing repNumber field remains and always equals the first entry.
Nymble Admin

Payment terms, defined your way

Payment terms are no longer a fixed list — type the terms your business actually uses, and put them in the order your team expects.

New

  • Custom payment terms — add any term your business uses (2% 10 Net 30, Consignment, Pro Forma…) right on the Settings page, instead of choosing from a fixed list.
  • Drag to reorder — arrange the terms list so the ones your team uses most are at the top of every dropdown.
Platform

Orders and invoices carry more of your ERP

Open quantities, fulfillment centers, backorders, and package counts now flow from your ERP onto every order and invoice — everywhere your team and your customers look.

New

  • Open quantity and fulfillment center on orders — see how much of each line is still unshipped and which warehouse is fulfilling it, on the storefront’s My Account order view, Nymble Sales order detail, and Nymble Admin.
  • Backorder visibility on invoices — invoice lines show the backordered quantity, and invoices carry the fulfillment center and number of packages.
  • Line items keep your ERP’s original line order instead of re-sorting.
  • The SQL connector maps all of these fields in its default schema, and spreadsheet imports support them too.

Fixed

  • QuickBooks customer sync no longer accumulates duplicate addresses on re-sync, and re-syncing a customer with a second default contact no longer fails.
  • Addresses created in QuickBooks no longer swap the zip code and country fields.
Nymble Admin

See every rep's app version and last activity

Know at a glance which reps are on the current Nymble Sales release and when they were last active — no more asking around before a trade show.

New

  • App Version and Last Active columns on the sales reps list, so outdated installs stand out before they become sync problems in the field.
  • Devices panel on each rep — every device they’ve signed in on, with its app version and last check-in.

Improved

  • Sales rep welcome emails now fit the recipient: brand-new reps get set-up-from-scratch instructions, while reps who already have a Nymble account get a short heads-up instead.
Nymble Sales

Multiple carts, recent purchases, and a faster catalog

A batch of Nymble Sales upgrades for reps who juggle several orders at once — plus catalog cues that show what each customer actually buys.

New

  • Multiple carts per customer — keep a stock order and a trade-show order going for the same account and switch between them freely.
  • Recently Purchased — a catalog category of the active customer’s purchases, sorted by recency, for rebuilding a usual order fast.
  • “Previously ordered” badges on catalog products, per active customer, so reps can tell at a glance what’s a reorder and what’s a first pitch.
  • Line notes on cart items — capture “ship this half first” where it belongs, on the line; your back office sees the note on the order in Nymble Admin.

Improved

  • Toggle the products screen between a grid and a list — whichever suits the catalog you sell.
  • The catalog screen’s Favorites, Tags, Flipbooks, and Recently Purchased tiles load without popping in.
  • Order Type can be changed right on the cart review screen, and new carts start from your organization’s defaults.

Fixed

  • Searching within a category now searches that category, not the whole catalog.
Nymble Admin

Fulfillment methods, in your vocabulary, on every order

Ship, Pickup, Via Rep — define the fulfillment methods your operation actually uses and they follow the order from cart to invoice, everywhere it's shown.

New

  • Org-managed fulfillment methods — type your own values in Settings (there’s no universal list of how B2B orders ship, so we don’t pretend there is one).
  • Per-customer defaults — set a customer’s usual method once and every new cart starts with it, in the app, the storefront, and the API.
  • Reps choose on cart review — a dropdown in Nymble Sales, working offline, with the value traveling cart → order → invoice untouched.
  • Shown wherever the order lives: Nymble Admin carts, orders, and invoices; storefront checkout review and order history; the order PDF; and the order receipt email.

Improved

  • Order Types and Fulfillment Methods in Settings can be drag-reordered, and new carts seed their Order Type from the top of your list.
Nymble Sales

Customer notes that travel with your reps

Reps can keep notes on every account — written at the counter, synced to the back office, available with or without signal.

New

  • Notes tab on every customer — record visit outcomes, preferences, and follow-ups right on the account, in the field.
  • Works offline — notes are written locally and sync when the connection returns, like everything else in Nymble Sales.
  • Visible to the back office — the same notes appear on the customer’s details in Nymble Admin, so the office and the road stay on the same page.
Nymble Storefront

Buyers can send a cart to their rep for review

Not every order should go straight to checkout — buyers can now hand a cart to their sales rep, who reviews it, adjusts it, and submits it on their behalf.

New

  • Send to my rep — a buyer building a cart on your storefront can send it to their assigned rep with an optional note instead of checking out.
  • The cart appears on the rep’s device in Nymble Sales with a review-requested notice (plus an email), ready to revise and submit on the customer’s behalf — even offline.
  • While a cart is under review it’s locked on the storefront, and the buyer can recall it at any time; if the rep sends it back, their note is shown right on the cart.
  • Every order now records where it started — storefront or Nymble Sales — alongside who submitted it, so your reporting reflects how customers really buy.
Nymble Admin

Organize your catalog with product tags

Slice a large catalog by season, promotion, or lifecycle — tag products one at a time or by the spreadsheet-load, and let your reps browse by tag.

New

  • Tags on every product — add and edit tags like ON SALE or NEW INTRODUCTION right on the product details page in Nymble Admin.
  • Bulk tagging from a spreadsheet — upload a two-column Sku/Tags sheet to tag your whole catalog in one pass. The import reports exactly what was applied and skips unrecognized SKUs instead of failing the upload.
  • Browse by tag in Nymble Sales — when your products carry tags, reps see a Tags tile in the catalog; tapping a tag lists exactly the products that carry it.
Nymble Sales

Company Documents, readable right in the app

Price lists, terms sheets, and catalogs open inside Nymble Sales now — no more bouncing to email to check a document mid-visit.

New

  • Company Docs from the Dashboard — your organization’s documents are one tap away, on a dedicated screen.
  • In-app preview for Word, Excel, PDF, and images — open a price list at the counter without leaving the conversation.
  • Cached for offline — documents you’ve opened stay readable when the signal doesn’t cooperate.
Platform

Carts reprice themselves, and receipts reach everyone

A cart that sat overnight no longer carries yesterday's prices — and when an order is placed, everyone who should know, knows.

New

  • Reprice on view — when prices change while a cart is parked, the cart refreshes to current pricing the next time it’s opened: the storefront shows exactly which lines changed, and Nymble Sales shows a banner. Configurable per organization from a new cart-pricing settings card in Nymble Admin, with a checkout guard so no order goes through on stale prices.
  • Order receipts for everyone who needs them — checkout receipts now go to the customer, the sales rep, and your organization. Reps see exactly who will receive the receipt on the Review Order screen before they submit.

Improved

  • A receipt email that can’t be delivered no longer gets in the way of the order itself.
Platform

Carts and orders stay live across devices

When the back office and the road are looking at the same cart, they now see the same thing — without anyone hitting refresh.

Improved

  • Nymble Sales live-refreshes carts and orders when they change remotely — an edit made in Nymble Admin shows up on the rep’s screen without reopening.
  • Nymble Admin auto-refreshes its cart and order lists, so submitted orders appear as they happen.
  • If a cart is deleted on one side while open on the other, both sides now handle it gracefully instead of erroring.

Fixed

  • Cart deletions now reach every device reliably — previously a deleted cart could linger on other devices until a full re-sync.
Nymble Admin

Market codes for cleaner rep and order reporting

Tag reps with the market they serve and every cart and order carries it — so your reporting and ERP slice by market without manual bookkeeping.

New

  • Market code on every rep — editable on the sales rep record, with suggestions from the codes your organization already uses.
  • Stamped onto carts and orders automatically from the rep, editable by the rep before submission, and carried through to reporting columns and your ERP.
  • Registry management in Settings — see every market code in use and retire the ones that shouldn’t be.
Nymble Admin

Tune the AI that screens storefront access requests

Tell Nymble what your business sells and who you approve as a customer — or let it draft that for you — and the AI research on access requests judges applicants by your rules, weighted by the signals that matter most to you.

New

  • Research settings on your organization — describe your industry and your approval criteria in Organization Settings; the AI screening of storefront access requests uses your words instead of generic assumptions.
  • Research settings draft themselves — the first time you open Research settings, Nymble researches your own business and pre-fills both fields with a suggested draft; review, edit, and save — nothing is stored until you do.
  • Weighted approval signals — drafted criteria include High/Medium/Low weighting for verification signals (business registration, website, licensing, social media, directory listings, and more). The eligibility score follows your levels, and each check in the research report shows which of your factors it addressed.
  • AI usage panel — see your organization’s AI usage and cost at a glance in Nymble Admin.

Improved

  • Access-request research now verifies applicants against real web sources, and its eligibility score is anchored to what was actually verified — every score comes with the evidence behind it.

Nymble Admin

Sharper tools for catalog and order housekeeping

A batch of Nymble Admin quality-of-life upgrades — find products missing images, email order copies, clean up carts, and manage Flipbooks without the friction.

New

  • Products missing images — a filter and badge on the Products list surface every product that ships to your storefront without a photo.
  • Email order copies — send a copy of any order from the orders list or order details, straight from the admin.
  • Delete carts — clear abandoned carts individually or multi-select from the cart list.
  • Flipbooks manager upgrades — a proper upload-and-processing screen for new PDFs, rename, delete, and tags that save themselves.

Improved

  • Pending Orders now sort by last updated, newest first, so the carts that just moved are on top.
